History

In 2009, Jang DaYeon tried out for the Hello! Project Korea Auditions "Meet Tokyo Girls," which were aired on Mnet in Korea starting from May 21, 2009.

15 girls were chosen out of the 2500 participants, and on June 21, 2009 Dayun was announced as the winner. She introduced herself during the 08/08 Hello! Project Summer 2009 Kakumei Gannen ~Hello! Champloo~ concert, where Niigaki Risa translated for her. As of January 2010, how she will debut in Hello! Project is still uncertain as no announcements have yet been made.
