From J-Ongaku
Welcome to J-Ongaku:
the new J-Music & Asian Media wiki!
J-Ongaku is a new wiki created in hopes of having a place for all Asian Media-related information to go. While Wikipedia has been the main source for information during ThePPN's downtime, J-Ongaku strives to provide a targeted wiki where the format and rules serve what makes most sense for the Asian Media world, which is something that Wikipedia can't do. Our purpose is not to replace ThePPN, but to provide an alternate wiki for looking up and sharing information, so that no matter what there will always be a place for fans to turn to when a resource is needed.
In case you're wondering what J-Ongaku means, it's simply a play on the term "J-Music." ^^ Ongaku (音楽) means "music" in Japanese. While J-Ongaku is mainly a resource for Japanese music (hence the name), all other Asian media is definitely welcome! If you're willing to write the article, we're willing to have a place for you to put it. ;D
Basic Rules
A few rules when adding information/articles:
- Articles added must be related to Japanese or other Asian music or media.
- While you may use other sources as references for facts and data, copying written content is not allowed without the original author's permission.
Helpful links
- Help:Artist_Page - originally intended to be used for copy & paste when adding a new Artist Page, but it's not required to be used as long as format from other artist pages is followed.
- J-Ongaku's page - more specific rules and information on format (which are currently up for user input) can be found here.
