Morning Musume Otome Gumi

Morning Musume Otome Gumi (モーニング娘。おとめ組 ) is one of two subgroups that Morning Musume was split into in 2003 so that they could perform in smaller concert venues. The other group was Morning Musume Sakura Gumi. In addition to touring separately, each subgroup also released two singles.
"Otome Gumi" means "Young Girl Group." Seeing this, Otome Gumi's songs were upbeat and fast-paced, to show the image of youth. Plus, three of the four 6th Generation members were in this group.
